Journal of Epistemology and Metascience in Medicine and Biology is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal devoted to the critical study of how knowledge is produced, validated, interpreted, and communicated in medicine and biology. The journal publishes original research, reviews, meta-research and metascience studies, epistemological and methodological analyses, scholarly essays, and other contributions addressing causality, scientific evidence, reproducibility, open science, research practices, statistical methods, classification and diagnosis, philosophy of medicine and biology, research integrity, artificial intelligence, and related issues concerning the foundations and practice of medical and biological sciences.
